Promoting an increased awareness and standardized approaches in diagnosing and treating peripheral artery disease

The objective of this program is to facilitate increased awareness and standardized approaches in diagnosing and treating peripheral artery disease (PAD), as well promoting atherosclerosis and PAD education for both providers and patients.  The toolkit will provide background and strategies focusing on early detection, prevention, clinical and imaging evaluation, standardized optimal medical and intervention therapies, outcome measurements and longitudinal follow up. The site is a resource of the Society for Vascular Medicine thanks to support from Janssen Pharmaceuticals.
